Java Runtime Enviroment Cannot Be Loaded From Binhotspotjvm.dll
I am running Oracle 10g on WIndows 7 (we upgraded last summer)… Your solution above sort of worked for me, the first time I did it anyway! i can make querys from every forms, but i can't generate reports. Just check the Java archive at Oracle for other Java RE versions. Together with http://www.steelbytes.net/oracle-jinitiator-and-internet-explorer-8 , it helped me out to get jiniator work on Windows 7! The above will clean your machine, as too many Java installation can sometime cause you these kind of issues. So pls. I think that the oajinit.exe is an Installshield 6.0 package. The original post was working when using IE 8 and Windows 7, so do not expect it to work with anything newer. Last-ditch solution is to disable Windows 7 DEP (data execution prevention).

I have tried, but even using compatability, it starts to unpack, then just stops without installing, even when run as administrator? I got a different version of jvm.dll from Sun to see whether it would correspond as expected, and actually did.
