I think that I have worked my way through most of it with your help. I do not see where I can do that. I opened the project, which must be VB2005, and VB2008 upgraded it. I then tried to run it in VB2008 Professional debug. Has anyone been able to accomplish this with this version of Crystal Reports?

Don't know if I can help. Position the graphic accordingly, then right-click the graphic and go to Format Graphic > Common. You should then see the Bitmap property as a CR field. http://analysedesgeeks.com/how-to/how-to-change-crystal-report-datasource-at-runtime-in-vb-net.html You still need to add a report to your application.

It seems that CR caches some sort of image that just won't go away.

I already have all 114 jpg files loaded into Resouces. Of course, this solution requires that you push data into the reports via a DataSet. Read the link I gave above, it will show you how to interact between the viewer and you report. If I try to run that exe, I get an error massage saying "Appliacation has generated an exception that could not be handeled .....".I think the article and sample project may possibly Microsoft Reports good.
